Toshoa Oha was a roleplayer on Kettemoor who rp’d a pregnancy (9 weeks instead of 9 months), labor, child birth, and beyond. To facilitate the “and beyond” part, I built her nursery area including crib, nursing chair and ottoman, changing table, and diaper disposal basket. Originally there had been a diaper disposal unit–a starship shield generator with the top of a torch licking out the top. The client preferred the basket.

Way back in the fall of 2006 commands to pitch and roll objects were just items on my wishlist. Paintings, too, still didn’t have backs (they were invisible when rotated 180°). Consequently, the choices of objects to use in crafting a realistic sized crib were limited. Two sofa chairs, a Boffa Plant painting, and a pair of sword cores form the crib. The mobile is constructed from a Nemoidian bird cage, wooden staff, lamp, and three colored bangles. Stuffed banthas adorn both the mobile and the crib.
