Defendent was arrested in a public market. According to the victim, Criv Thoram, CEO of Thoram Weapons Systems, the defendent verbally assaulted the victim, and invited Mr. Thoram’s Twi’Lek slave, Illaloo, to abandon her master and accompany defendent off-planet. According to witnesses, when the slave attempted to follow the defendent, Mr. Thoram had to resort to physically restraining the slave, resulting in various bruises and scrapes upon the slave’s person. The defendent, having been the instigating cause of the damage to Mr. Thoram’s property, was charged with vandalism.
Attorney’s for Mr. Thoram lobbyed the court to file felony attempted robbery charges, but the court (Hon. Foldar Agaarym) declined on the grounds that the slave went willingly rather by force or coercion, and to press charges against the defendent would also require filing charges of abdication of duty and attempted breach of contract against the slave, resulting in her incarceration. Ultimately, the defendent was convicted of vandalism of private property, ordered to maintain no less than 100 meters distance from the victim and his slaves for a period of 5 years, and sentenced to 21 days in jail. Released ROR 12:16:0 BBY.

CorSec found R.M. running naked between houses on a residential street. R.M. stated that he had just left the intimate company of a young woman. When CorSec officer Flamm (Badge 687-38) noted that R.M.’s explanation was not sufficient to explain his public nudity, R.M. explained that he had had to abandon his clothes when the young woman’s husband unexpectedly returned home, forcing R.M. to evacuate via the bedroom window. Within minutes of receiving a citation and fine for brandishing a weapon in public, defendent Rail Magnor was arrested for public brawling along with another defendent, Hylan Rykarx, known to Beltrix Security Forces Vice Squad as “Daddy Ryk,” an illegal pleasure purveyor. Magnor claimed he had been exiting a nearby cantina when he observed Rykarx beating an employee, a Zabrak woman who gave her name as Illustria, and intervened on the woman’s behalf by threatening Rykarx with a blaster. Rykarx denies being threatened with a blaster, stating that Magnor was merely allowing Rykarx to “admire his fine, fine weapon.” When a Beltrix patrol observed the weapon in view in the alley way east of 146,000 Elcula Blvd., and Rykarx denying the assault, a citation for brandishing a weapon in public was issued, and the officers moved on.
Seconds later, the same patrol officers heard sounds of a struggle and returned to the alley way to find another of Rykarx’s employees, a Bastion “Bruiser” Mullavist, unconscious, with Magnor standing on the man’s throat, and Rykarx flinging garbage at Magnor.
The only witnesses to the events before and between the involvement of Beltrix Security officers were the involved parties and other employees of Rykarx (all known to BSF Vice as prostitutes). All of the women confirmed Rykarx’s story that Magnor “went ultra whack” and, unprovoked, initiated an assault on Mullavist, who outweighed Magnor by 20 kilos.
Mullavist was taken to Mercy General Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries including broken nose, clavicle, and radius, a bruised trachea, lacerations to the tongue and lip, and a concussion. During examination, doctors recovered Magnor’s blaster from inside Mullavist’s tunic. No charges were pressed against Mullavist.
Magnor and Rykarx were both taken into custody and spent the weekend in city lockup. Magnor was treated for abrasions to the face and hands, bruises on his shoulders, and two broken fingers. Released into custody of employer, Mid Rim Express Deliveries Corp., 5:03:2 ABY.
